Bob The Wonderdog

Bob the wonderdog, full-time hairball, part-time super-hero. I've always loved working in pen & ink. This, of course was done digitally - Good thing too. For me, the down side of pen and ink was the inevitable clogging pens. That, and smearing the ink before it has a chance to dry.

Hey Santa!

There’s nothing like getting an early start on the holiday spirit by painting a Santa in August! Seeing it published reminds me of how much fun I had painting this piece — Always happy to channel my early holiday spirit into a piece like this.

My New Favorite Holiday Mug

My new favorite holiday mug has arrived from Zazzle! I wasn't planning on having more coffee today, but, what the heck! I've got to try this thing out! I may actually be more productive, and jittery, than usual by the day's end. Cheers!

Evening Treetop

Here’s a piece I’ve wanted to paint for a while. I had the sketch, but never got around to painting it. The lighting and perspective alone makes it worth tackling. But for me, it was just a great opportunity to try out some new painting procedures I’ve been itching to try.

The One And Only Mrs. Gorf

I did the artwork for a theatrical production of Sideways Stories From Wayside School. I presented several compositions. This composition was not chosen, but I painted it anyway — just for fun. I always seem to learn something from going through this process.
