Rolling!

Today's warm-up sketch.

Wonderland: Alice's Rock & Roll Adventure

This is an illustration for an upcoming theatrical performance of Wonderland: Alice’s Rock & Roll Adventure. I even broke out my old Fender Stratocaster for reference, which made me very happy. I play mostly air guitar these days. But, you never know… I just may break out my old amplifier one of these mornings — Set your earplugs for stun!

Aaaaaaaah!

Monday morning's rock and roll scream.

Yak!

I must have been listening to an old Beatles tune when I made this sketch. Definitely a mop-top haircut.

At first it was an ordinary stone…

I fully intended to render this piece in black and white line — but I knew it wouldn’t've been happy that way, so, I painted it instead.

Russell

New portfolio piece.

Tellurian space bot rangers.

It's been a while since I've drawn something mechanical. So, being a big fan of Star Wars, robots came to mind right away. I gave them the retro look just for fun.

Run Dino Run!

I've been wanting to paint a dinosaur image for a while now — so, here it is!

Coyote Car Wash

Always hold your breath when going through a car wash. Especially if you’ve left your car at home, or, in this case, don’t own one.

The Tucson Festival Of Books

It was a great day signing at the Tucson Festival Of Books. Perfect weather, lot's of traffic, and lots of happy faces.

High Plains Crooner

I really like how the color palette worked out in this piece.

Bob The Wonderdog

Bob the wonderdog, full-time hairball, part-time super-hero. I've always loved working in pen & ink. This, of course was done digitally - Good thing too. For me, the down side of pen and ink was the inevitable clogging pens. That, and smearing the ink before it has a chance to dry.

Coffe Cat

Here's another black and white drawing.

Smiley James

This morning's character sketch. Smiley James aka: One Eyed Navada Joe.

New Sketch

Harrison was getting good results from his latest batch of hair tonic.
